Agreed, I fear insurance costs may have something to do with it? Not sure.

However, I wonder how it would work out and cost, at a certain RAF base just up the coast? Possible? Hmmm.....Doubt it.

There are guys on one of the Audi forums have arranged a day at one of the RAF bases down south. Think it's about £100 and it's 2.5km runway. I would love to do it, but just too steep for me this year. It is for a really good cause, so i hope it's a sell out and everyone has a good time.
