Went round to the place this afternoon, had a job to do on the Mr2 and wanted the luxury of a lift.

Place is pretty damn good, loads of space, air lines, tools, tubs to get rid of waste etc etc.

I'll be looking at using them again for the odd job and possibly for longer swaps too.

Would definitely recommend if you have a job to do that's easier in the air/out of the weather. No affiliation, just thought it may be of some interest to others. Rog, the guy who runs it is sound so feel free to contact him and speak to him.

Cheers,
Olie

Not bad at all considering. £21 for the hour but the more you book, the less it costs.

Frank, pm winging it's way to you.

In Lee's defence his spannerwork was exemplary - right up to the last thing he did eek - which I put down to fatigue!! As they say what goes on in Auto DIY stays in Auto DIY!! laugh

Thanks for the help Lee.

Guys if you need a ramp and plenty of space this is a very good facility.

I sure do need the exercise. I enjoyed it yesterday, and glad to help out in good company. Roger seems a nice chap and even made a brew. I think I would be very comfortable using the garage now someone else has paid for the test.laugh
I'm up for it again Barry, even if it is just a health check before Gumbaw next year.thumbup

Rog - have you thought about a steam cleaner - Paulqv was looking for a place he could lift a car and steam clean the underside (he does a bit of off roading) laugh

I've been asked that before, its the mess it causes inside and also the possible damage to the lift itself.
I dont have any objections to a vehicle being jacked up outside the unit (weekends only) and jetwash the underside, as long as its dirt and not oil.
Tell your mate to send me a message and we can arrange something.
Always happy to help.
Cheers

Substantial difference in mess between steam cleaning and pressure washing!!

Why don't we organise a group wash. Not much difference in setting up a steam
cleaner/ jacks/ stands etc for one car as opposed to ten cars.
