Hello all,

I am meeting up with a couple of the Glasgow members on Sunday (27th) and going to be photographing their cars in a studio in Irvine. The studio slot is 12 till 6 so I was wondering if anyone else may be interested in coming along and getting their car photographed in the studio. The type of shot I will be taking is sampled below.

There will be a small (£20) cost involved, this is purely to cover the cost of the studio and not my time. I will provide you with all the images with a couple/few edited for your use, they will be of a resolution that will print up to poster size (I have printed out to 30' by 20').

If anyone is interested then please let me know and I will let you know further details.

I'd be interested... depends if i've got time though.

Were you able to get any more info on hiring an infinity cove in Edinburgh, we talked about it a bit last year? Since i don't mind footing the bill to hire it, as i was wanting to have a decent play with taking pics etc.

Hi, I might be interested in this & not too far from me (North Ayrshire). What time? How long does it normally take?

Cheers,
Mike.

Hi Mike,

Studio is booked from 12 till 6, each car would be a little over an hour or so depending on the studio (I have not used this one yet so dont know it), if you were to be able to be free from say mid afternoon then I would be able to shoot the others first. Which car would you be bringing along, Lotus or Porsche?

Thanks alot that would be much appreciated biggrin. I think you got the price for it, and that it was huge. But a few more details would be great.

Never made it to one of them, but some of the photos looked fantastic, some were too gimmicky for my tastes though. A good insight and tuition from a pro.

Hi Ian,

That should be fine. Will probably bring the Elise over (could maybe bring both if there's time/space), do you want to PM the details.

Cheers,
Mike.

Me too. If anything like this happens again I'd be quite keen to partake.

Unfortunately just found out I won't be able to bring Elise. Was supposed to be picking it up from being serviced tomorrow but looks like it will be next week now.

Happy to bring the 968 along if that's of any interest.

Just seen this reply, I have 4 cars now, but if you are free to come down later on, nearer about 5 then I am sure we could get the Clio in the studio for a few shots. If not then I will be looking to book another session so can do it then. Email and let me know.

Won't manage tomorrow now. Car is filthy anyway! Would be interested if you do another session though.

Ian, thanks for organising today, please apologise to Debbie again for the terrible run in a Ferrari, the car had a wee flaky fit after trying to manoeuvre in that tiny wee space, think the clutch overheated a bit, F1 boxes definately weren't built for that, seems to be ok now smile looking forward to seeing the pics smile

That's ok. Good to know that they aren't indestructible! Tis a nice car, but please apologize to your wife. I didn't get the flake out on those lovely cream seats. wink
