Salaries in Scotland?

Hi guys,

Looking at getting back into work soon (just came over from Australia) and just wanted to know what is the average salary range in Scotland? I used to be a builder and then sold BMW and was really good at it. I am either thinking of getting back into car sales of sales of some description. I might also look into some sort of management job too.

I know this is a really hard question (how long is a piece of string) but just want to know what sort of pay should I expect. £25,000-£30,000? £30-35? How hard is it to get £40,000+

Anyone give me a rough idea as I am really familiar with the Aussie market but no idea about here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As long as you have a rolex etc worth about 10k for the interview you should get the job!

Thanks for that mate. I am probably going to try and stay out of building if I can for the time being (did it for 13 years) and try something else. If I have trouble though I will get in touch for sure. Thanks again for the offer!
