It's one of my favourite times now - when you have a wad of cash from selling your last motor, and you get to look for the next one!

My biggest issue is trying to work out what I want!

I know it has to have 4 seats.
I am in inner turmoil between heart (big engine, fast, etc) and head (cheaper to run, more fuel efficient, etc.)

I actually have no idea what to get next!

Bouncing between EP3 Type R, Renaultsport Clio 182/Megane 225, Panda 100HP, E46 330Ci, Fabia vRS, Leon Cupra 225, etc, etc.

I have around £5,600 to spend, insurance isn't a major concern (turn 40 on 22nd April) so I am really no further forward as to what to get!

Still, it's a nice problem to have.

Not really asking for advice/whatever, just letting you know to stop the hairdresser taunts from now on biggrin

If you're after the 'best of both' you won't go wrong with a clio 182/trophy.

Mine was very cheap to run considering the performance - will easily manage 35mpg mixed driving.

Cheers,

Dave

a Fabia vRS or leon cupra tdi, then a re-map.
will still get 45-50 mpg.
