http://www.mercedescarspecialists.com/ - I've only used them for brakes but the guy used to be head of servicing for Merc in Glasgow and left when (because?) Stratstone took over, friendly service, well priced, and I've only ever read good reviews on the mbclub.co.uk forum, I'd go back.

http://www.merparts.com/ in Port Glasgow also get a good name but they're a bit too far away for me, might suit you though.

You could of course help support a fellow PHer in Scotland and come to me.

Another vote for http://www.mercedescarspecialists.com/index.html been great every time we have used them.
We travel from ABZ as they are the best we have found in Scotland.

Good guys! I use them for my merc. Still trying to get Stef to bring his Evo out on a run. (BTW not a Mitsubishi but as appropraite to a Merc specialist; like this)

If you still work up near me you could always use here. I use them very regular, as they do work on Porsches too. If you phone, feel free to tell them I pointed you there if you want.

What have you bought this time? I never seen the Boxster or the 350Z. I hope I see the next one.

As Lee says, boys above come well recommended. Know their onions. And Mercs.

Hi Lee - I'm only up that way once a month or so, the car is long story was looking at 994's then nearly bought a chimaera but buggered my knee so needed an auto and have ended up with an SLK32, waiting on the private plate coming off but hopefully will have it for weekend

That was your cue to buy a 928.biglaugh I hope you get it sorted and get on a run with us. We're doing one in June that will start a few miles from your uncles outside Forth. You could even join in from the road end.thumbup

It's always Merparts for me for the following reasons:

1. they only use Mercedes parts (not aftermarket equivalents)
2. they don't mind me peering over their shoulder when they work on my car
3. they are half the labour rate of my nearest Merc dealer
4. the Merc dealers send stuff to them when they cannot fix it themselves

Had three Mercs, all been looked after there, never had any issues!

I've driven from Edinburgh to use Merparts.

They're good.

I've tried quite a few of the Mercedes specialists in the west and honestly most of them wouldn't know a Mercedes from a Mazda, the only one I now let near my car is Alan at Carluke MOT 01555 751050. They specialise in Mercedes. I appreciate they are a little outside Glasow but they are the very beginning of Carluke, 10 mins off M8.

Goodluck and say to Alan that Aidan told you to call.
