May Road Run - 8th May 2011
Discussion
As our good mate flip has set the date for the May Track Event I will run a complementary road run to fill the gap in May for the road warriors before Lee's Clyde Valley run in June.
Route will be the usual mix of twisties and fast A roads so terrain to suit all.

If you're a lurker or a newbie, see these for examples of what its all about:

Knockhill is 12th may, it's on the sticky above!
I can't go boohoo, but this road run should be brilliant!
But isn't the 12th of May the Dreadnought track night?I can't go boohoo, but this road run should be brilliant!
I was going to do that anyway - I thought this was another session

Road runs over 30-odd miles aren't really comfortable or practical (although I could take the Masser I guess), so I'll stick with the track session.

Mine is solid bushed, Rose mounted track spec too but thankfully comfort and practicality come second to the fun........... I'm not too old I'm not too old Yeeeeaaaaah ;-)johnycarrera said:

and not a bush in sight). Without side windows or roof the buffetted does get tiring, but without the luxury of power steering and servo brakes the old limbs start to ache too much after a while. Steering force required is akin to a rental go-kart (actually much more at slow speeds) and most folks would be getting sore muscles in a kart after half and hour solid. It all adds up to 30 miles being about as much as I'd want to drive without a rest. That really is as far as someone of my advancing years would want to attempt; runs don't hold much attraction in the Tuscan unless threy're real short.....I am too old I am too old
...and I've never felt the Masser was a 'run' type of car for some reason.
