Car Port Aberdeen(shire)?

Being the tight ct I am and not wanting to spend $$$ on a proper garage I fancy installing a car port on my house - any recommendations?

I have one and its way less expensive that a garage of equivalent size. Plus because their classed as temporary buildings no issues with planning etc.

Just watch if there is heavy snow - 3 round my way came down with the weight of the snow on them last winter.

Consider its aberdeenshire do consider the usefullness of anything that is designed to deal with vertical rain only
