Well, not quite a riot yet but apparently there is polis out in force and a stabbing already.

Anyone local that can give us some more info?

Got a lot of friends at Glasgow/Strathclyde Uni and apparently it's been great fun. They described it as a festival basically.

Didn't know about the stabbing though....

Kind of sounds like the trouble started after the Police tried to break it up.

I know a coupe of people who pitched up but found it a bit studenty and hipster scene so left.

Indeed, a part of me is hoping for a full scale barmy and the front page of the Sun to be a picture of some very broken luminous shades.

Hearing from someone who was there. Supposedly it was all good fun and a laugh and no trouble until the police arrived. Then the bams showed themselves and had a go at the police (ruining it for everyone else), when most people were going to leave in a civil manner. Then the horses came and st hit the fan

Ended up stuck in the middle of it this afternoon, not knowing where everyone was coming from. Only when asked some cops , they said it was a Facebook posting that had gathered momentum !
Was peaceful at least until 3:30 ish this afternoon, when we left. But judging by some of the folk we saw filtering in at that time it had the hallmark of getting out of hand I guess

We 'might' do it this year.
A couple of mates are on the bill but climbing through ankle deep ned detritus does put me off.
