Dug the wedge out of it's lockup last night after a quick jump start had great drive home with the top down and this morning we where off for an MOT. She failed on the HC test as even at 2000 RPM it was 1500 ppm yikes

The tester had left it idling for ages so I suggested I took it for a "blat" up the road just to clear it's tubes... driving
Second attempt - Failed at idle ~ 1250 PPM, 2000 RPM test ~ 300 ppm - SORTED biggrin

Considering it was a £25 quick-fit MOT the tester was a really great guy and I could not fault their service. So she's now taxed and tested for another season cloud9

Nice one Simon, glad to hear she is still going well.

Mine has its MOT in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed, think it only needs minor stuff. Handbrake (as always), needs a headlight bulb and new wiper. Hopefully that'll be it but you never can tell!!

Cheers Guys,

Why is that from the minute it was fully legal it started raining and so far it ain't stopped yet.

Went out for a run (as suggested by Mrs B !) last night with roof where it should be, got a bit damp with the water running off the middle of the side windows, why is it that it seems to travel along the window and then decide to enter the car right where your ear is, must be a design feature......

Good luck with your MOT Tony, I knew you would not be wedge-less for long - Are you taking it to TAG ??

You should have come to Chatsworth Simon - I am nursing sunburn this morning

Quite a few Wedges there but very strange that 50% of them were 400SEs
On build numbers you would expect about 10%
Will try post some pics later (to rub it in Simon) but very busy at moment

I led 38 TVRs down from West Yorks thru the wonderful Derbyshire roads
and the final tally was 539 I believe so plenty to see and
also wonderful Chatsworth pasties - the pork and apple was to die for

Catch up soon

Cheers
Rich

PS Luckily when I do have to use my wiper it is the passenger who gets the "run-off"
Kept having to squirt the windscreen to get the flys off in all the sun yesterday. LOL
