Need More Power !!

Fit a 2.9L 24V BOB cozzy. Cheap as chips off ebay, an instant 200hp+, and not too complicated to fit.
or deck the block and the heads, junk the injection, fit either a twin choke weber or 3 Weber DCNF's (they will stick out of the bonnet though), port and polish and get around 200hp. Mega expensive.

Whack a front mounted turbo on it but keep it below 210bhp/260flbs torque and you wont have to change anything else..Go over that and you will need low compression pistons..Maybe get you cam re-profiled..Check all the ford forums and you will see the same Q and A asked all the time..
The turbo is relatively cheap but you will need some major pipe fabrication to fit it to the exhaust+ a joining pipe and an oil feed to cool it..Or air cooled but that is a bit more involved. This is my plan for next year.
You could find a cozzy lump for under £500 and get someone to fit for around £1500-1800, The turbo will cost about the same.Zig

Cossie V6 should just slot straight in, but most come with autobox, so a bit of buggering about there, plus with the ECU wiring so it knows it now has a manual.
There was a complete blog of how to do it on the 'wedgepages', but not sure if they're online anymore.
Here's a Cossie V6 en situ:

...and with noise...ok, racing type exhausts.

Or how about a mini SX (literally!)? The BMW Mini boys upgrade their superchargers so you can get a good one for under £200 off e-bay. It wont give you mad boost as it’s quite wee, but I think it would be enough for 200 hoses easy.
That way the existing engine stays where it is, you won’t need to lower the compression and you could get a Megasquirt management on there.
That would be a good project I think.

I'm planning a different route for power. 2011 Ford Mustang 3.7l Duratec, 305hp, 300lbs/ft of torque, 6 speeds, guessing 35mpg highway and a solid 200lbs+ less weight then the 2.8 and iron tranny. Was going the 302 route but will wait a year or two until I can buy the combo with under 20k for about a grand. That'll give plenty of time for the kiddies to run into trees and someone to develop a good stand alone system.
