LT77 gear lever thread size..??

Hi all, I assume i am correct in saying my 450 has the LT77 gearbox?

I have bought a new gearknob and want to fit a locking nut beneath it as one of the reasons I am changing the knob is because the old gearknob does not sit straight(it is also tatty so it's not simply a case of fitting a locking nut beneath my existing gearknob).

I want to position the new gearknob correctly then lock it in position with a nut on the gearlever placed beneath the gearknob.
