Your first post there zig took some working out, definatly thought you had been on the toasted mushrooms this time.
I had a 1988 Jag xj6 last year so I joined 2 jag forums. Said hello on them both and got 1 response on one of them. Asked a question on them both and got zero, ziltch, nada from neither.
Seeing as you mentioned Fords, I have just changed the fuel filter on a mondeo TDCI and would it buggery start again. I forgot that when I done one a while back, its best to fill the new one up with fuel before fitting otherwise you need to crank the engine for forever and a day. Eventually sent the boy (who is 26
) to the garage for some deisel to fill it up with and he went without his wallet so had to do a runner. (not really, its local and we know them)
The lad was almost snarling at me as he was supposed to be setting off back to Surrey this aft but didn't get away til 6. Never mind though, he has cruise control in his new to him '06 reg mundano.
He is coming up from Surrey to meet me at the BBWF this year on the saturday morning
