How much air under the diff?

Hi all, Just finished rebuilding the back suspension of my series 2 390se, all polybushed with new springs and adjustable dampers etc. I have got the the spring lengths equal when sitting on its wheels but how high should it be? Please can someone give me a starting height measured from a fixed point such as the centre of the inner 'A' frame bolts to the floor. In time I will get the geometry fully set up but I still have the front to do and therefore I am hoping to leave that until the winter as there is precious little summer left and I've wasted too much hooning time already!

I've always understood that if the A frames are flat and level at a standstill then that's good so they've got equal movement both ways when under load.
