Can't make... not a happy bunny

I will be out of the country so I finally won't be able to make BBWF.

Unless someone will tell me how to route my clutch cable, I'll never get the darned Tasmin on the road. Otherwise only the roof, trimming, electrics, bleed the brakes, MoT, back for re-test, back for re-retest and we will have a going Wedge!

Sorry to hear you wont be able to make it..What you got a 280 or 350..Not sure on the 350 but the 280 has a cable with a banjo fitting with a gub screw for securing and sits over a bolt up above the pedal...The other end has a nipple with a grub screw that goes into the fork on the side of the clutch housing..I had to remove the oil filter to get to the adjuster...Pretty simple..Just fiddly..Maybe someone can help if its a 350..Cheers..ziga
Hi Ziga,
280. I've found the fixings. The problem is that, as far as I can see, the only route for the cable is leaning on the exhaust manifold! My estimate of the cable's life is 15 minutes max if it stays there. I'm looking for a better (sensible) route - or (again sensible) suggestions.
What chance the sensible bit on this site??!!
Many thanks, 'specially if it works!

Mine is cable tied to the brake master cylinder or it too would burn on the manis..Perhaps there should be a heat sheild or something there?..Might be worth another look..I think if anything the adjuster should be moved as mine is directly under the oil filter which i must say had to come out when my cable slipped out of the fitting on the way to BBWF..i think i jinxed myself writing what i did on this post..
