On the way back from the bbwf the steering boot has split clean off. Anybody know where I can get one and what's involved in replacing it. Cheers lads

Drop the track-rod end off the hub asssembly, after cracking-off the track-rod end locknut.
Then count how many turns it takes to undo the TRE from the track-rod, then remove the locknut.
Slide new boot on, secure to rack and track rod with cable ties usually supplied.
Refit locknut and TRE to exactly the same nmumber of turns (or you'll furgle the tracking alignment), reassemble to hub. You're supposed to renew the Nyloc nut but phooey, if it can't be screwed-on with your fingers but needs a spanner, it'll do biggrin

I always find the universal ones are too long and tend to turn themselves inside-out when you go from lock to lock. Then they split. I've used them, but the genuine type are a much better fit - probably a Ford dealer part though.
