busy trying to source and procure new manifolds and reconditioned heads!!!!!!!!

If I werent so intent on keeping it 'real' I would have a BOB cossie engine in there...

Well at the last minute i managed to get the metering head refurbed and blocked off the leaking accumulator which was the reason for losing fuel pressure and bad starting..Just as i got 4-5 miles out from home on BBWF day the clutch cable popped out of its fitting but managed to sort it on the roadside..Got there and it was noticed that the front was slanting down quite badly..The pit crew got on it and found it to be a mixture of a bent suspension mount..(Which i knew about)..and a bad camber in the tarmac..So all was good really..Some major over-heating on the way home but i was stuck in town for 5 hrs going round in circles because of some poxy demon-stration..I felt sorry for and still do for those who parked next to me..Dixi and hallsie have now suffered the curse of the zig mobile..Sorry chaps..If its any consolation the volvo that was parked next to me wouldnt start at all when the owner tried to leave on sunday morning..

Had a run up onto the N Yorks Moors on Tuesday with the NYTVRCC guys
to have a trip round Fylingdales Early Warning Station
(look it up on Google it is amazing - it looks like a huge pyramid from a distance)

It was really interesting although so was the journey there
as it was wetter than mine, Dixie and Wedg1es run down the M1 to the Fest

And tomorrow I am taking 16 of the WYTVRCC guys to an air day
at the Real Aircraft Company at Breighton near Selby
which will be good as long as the weather is good
as we have the BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane coming in the afternoon as well

So busy busy after a great Wedge Fest for me (as I didn't drink the Rusty Nail Rocket Fuel!!!!)
