Does anyone have to hand photo's of their strut brace between show towers?

I believe most if not all are three angled to clear the front of the RV8?

I think only the racers have fitted the cross brace,

The one on my saved the front of my car coming completely off when the turret failed.

Early S1s had a bolt-on strut brace as standard but it was deleted when the V8 was introduced, being replaced by two short diagonal tubes as the V8 is longer.

I'm sure I saw a car at the fest that had modified their car with front coil overs but I forgot to ask and or take any photo's.

Could of sworn they had welded a three angled cross brace across the front of the engine rather than over the top.

Anyhow, surely this will offer more precise handling?

The stainless chassis has coilovers and a brace welded in across the front of the engine.

I suspect it makes it a tight squeeze to get the engine out; when I get to that stage I'll probably have to strip the belts and pulleys off the engine to get space to lift it out.
