Someone posted the other day that Stuart Hall of "It's a Knockout Fame"
used to have a wedge which is the first time of have heard that

I also seem to remember someone mentioning David Seaman having one?

For those of us who have not had the Wedge and been on this forum for that long
who else is there famous who used to have a Wedge of any sort?

Remember this is Famous people and not Infamous people so most who post on here are dis-counted already!!!!

Cheers

I think this one is right as I sat in it...assuming Harrogate Horseless Carraiges was telling the truth that is. It was a 400SE. It was at the time I wanted to buy one but couldn't afford to laugh

Got a feeling that the Right Said Fred brothers owned a TVR but cant remember if it was a wedge or a later model.
Vaguely remember seeing a photo in Autocar magazine many years ago.

doing a search found

"WHY I LOVE MY.. TVR TAIMAR

26/11/2004

HE only lives three miles from the TVR factory, so it's no wonder that Gary Whitaker has developed a consuming passion for these British sports cars.

The 52-year-old IT consultant from Blackpool, Lancs, has owned 55 different cars, but it's his 1979 TVR Taimar that he really loves."

is he famous enough?

I caught David Seaman giving my car an envious look when I passed him in the early 90's. He was driving a Black 911 and waiting to turn on to the road I was driving on when I rumbled by in A189 VVX which is now Mr Tank's Green 350. Would love think I was the one that got him hooked into a Wedge...!!!
