You could have taken a hacksaw to that spare bracket extension (painted black) - think it's where the kickdown cable would fit on an automatic... but you're not likely to put one of those in

Lurve the drinks holder...

One of the (many) things I like about the Wedge is the ledges in the engine bay at the base of the windscreen... great for balancing beer bottles on!
