Have I gained a couple of stallions?

This week I have been removing bits fron the engine and painting them. These include the flame trap/breather on the offside rocker and the idle control valve type thingy that sits on the rear of the plenum between the bulkhead and the plenum top near the throttle cable.

Now, when refitting both these items I made sure there was a good seal. PTFE tape on the thread of the flame trap and good old silicone around the gasket of the idle control valve affair.

A good run out this morning and I swear it feels livelier suggesting a possible air leak previously.................?

I always felt that with my 450! they all do that especially if you don't use it in a while.
