Zig, apart from the dodgy seats and now the slight imperfection of your bumper! and your dodgy spray job of your struts your car looked like a gem.

Sometimes the grass ain't greener. Keep the faith fella I feel you are getting down again.

Get it bought Mark, looks pretty tidy overall from the pics. I think that's the same paint code as my car... and everyone knows silver Wedges are the fastest biggrin

You cant really tell until you go and see it, but on the face of it this car looks like a bargain Zig.

No 25 year old car will be trouble free but Christine is going to keep dipping in your wallet if you don't take control.

If you can find a way to do it, this 350 could be you escape strategy, two more cylinders too wink

Just make sure you check it over very carefully and do your sums.

Well zig, there's been a lot of history recently on ere about your car so any prospective buyer would need to have spent the year on mars, however there must be a few knowledgable wedgers on here to come with you to give the 350 a good going over, now that would be a spectacle,20 wedgers and wedges turn up to rescue one for ziggadoo!

Well the one i posted does look a bargain..BUT...yes there is a BUT..a very big BUT (And it aint mine by the way)..I have had a better offer in between posting up this from the classifieds..I dont want to let the cat out of the bag just yet..But i may be on to a right beaut all thanks to a very kind considerate fellow wedger..Who i think is really god in disguise..Well it certainly has made my day..Its still an uncertainty but a very big possibility..I will be asking some questions very soon..There is a new chapter in the Book of ziga or ziggadoo unfolding and i think its a better read with a happy ending..Ziga

I bought the car advertised '86 from HHC (second owner) and px'd it to Haughin's late '87 for my 390. Sorely tempted to buy it back (getting the wedge bug again!), but no MOT since 2007 so no idea how much work needed to get it back on the road.

Mark, that car used to be owned by Englishman if I have my facts correct. The very same chap who bought my 450 new. I was chatting to him about it just the other day as he was tempted himself. Why dont you drop him a pm?

If the oil p/relief valve is sticking as far as i know the oil gauge will read false to high or to low, e-mail Wild Rover [sandy] he'll tell you it's happened to him.

Cheers guys..Im hoping it is just a sticky valve as everthing else has been done..And i mean everything..This would be a car to cherrish for probably as long as i can and when its doing it..it will sound a proper monster and a worthy contender for the calendar..Im excited about the prospect of owning such a beast but will have to establish what is actually going on with it first, And i will have to find a new love for my wee red beastie..Ideally someone who HAS been living on mars for the past year..Although its running now and i will need to sort a couple of things before i let it go..Thanks jonny i will email sandy..as usual you guys are there to help..Top stuff..Cheers..Ziga

Mark, your getting excited, why dont you check the car over first then put a deposit on the car if your happy and tell him to hold until you've sold yours and tell him you'll give him full asking price aswell, that way he might keep it for a month, it is a good price and good looking car.
