NO but if you look through the past posts there are quite a few of them and they didnt get touched..At the end of the day this forum is a fraternity of TVR wedge owners who i have helped create a wedge calendar for and raise considerable amounts of money for charity through..We have all become friends over the last year and i have met quite a few of these guys in the flesh..If they are not allowed to show their appreciation then what is this coming to?...Its one frigging day..There are other posts on here that have nothing to do with cars..They are still present?..

After all in this case, we have Mark who has gone to the trouble of getting a calender printed with photo's of lots of very nice wedges on, which a lot of us have bought, if he didnt want us to know his birthday he would not have had it printed on them! along with all the other good info on them.

The latest member to register on Pistonheads is user number 263,303, if we divided that out by the number of days in the year it shows that there is potential for 721 birthday threads a day. Therefore there is a blanket rule across Pistonheads to disallow birthday threads.

Rules is rules some say, two points one is not everyone would post up about birthdays,
Two is as you get older or very old like me you start to know a good rule to have is a rule which is sometimes to be flexible with your other rules in certain cases.
This being one of them I would have allowed if I had a No Birthday rule.

Zig didnt start it, I was the OP of the original post, to say HB to Zig as he had put it on the calenders he had done for all us wedge owners and some of our cars, so it was not off topic in the wedge section. and it would have been nice if a mod had sent me a message, but no that didnt happen, just a silly post from a mod that because there is so many of us we must not wish HB cause if we did we would crash the site, which it did anyway! Here is a fact from me that was my first HB post in 30 odd months and 400 odd posts which destroys the mods comments as being a bit not factural. As a mod no doudt he could tell us how many HB posts have been removed over what space of time, that could back up his comments better, But I cant see that happening.As soon as you start trouble the whole site goes down for hours this afternoon
