where can i get spares for the wedge from , i need new dampers all round and front calipers and bushes for the suspension, i have tried wedge automotive but thier cataloge is a bit old (1999) and they dont answer the phone , have they packed up or gone bust. i dont really want to try the dealers as this will cost a lot so is there some other place where i can get bits for a 350i, i understand that the front calipers are from a granada about 1984 , is this right and are all granada calipers the same type, i have looked about from some princess types but they are hard to get hold of and anyway the granada ones should be able to stop such a little car as this...and dampers where from ....lots of work to do as its been laid up for so long ....

MK2 Granada I believe had either vented or non-vented disks. Most cars used the non-vented but the bigger engine cars and estates used the vented. The calipers are basically the same but have a spacer for the wider vented disk. It may be worth upgrading to this setup, as I don't think you will pay much more. It won't give you better braking but they shouldn't overheat as easily. Parts should be easy to get from any motor factors. I found Brakes International, Rochdale 01706 666999 very helpful.
Bought all my suspension bushes, shocks and springs from Richard. It may be worth trying him again, unless you want to spend days trying to find out what the bits are off and then someone to supply them.

Front brakes 84 ish Mk2 2.8 granada - fit vented as vastly better, no mods required to the mounting points but the back plate will need a bit of trimming if you have solid disks now.
Rear brakes Jag XJS
Dampers and springs are specials to TVR, Gaz, AVO and Spax still make dampers and you may be able to find some of the original Konis if your're lucky.
I originally bought my springs and dampers from Richard (now trading under the name RT racing. The AVO's he supplied me at the time are good for the money and can be rebuilt by AVO (in Northampton) for about 15 quid each.
Also try Tower view in London

The filler cap you want is a Quinton Hazell FC57, alternatively Jaguar use the same cap EAC3424, brought one last week.
