Not sure if this is how the poll thingy works, if not someone else can list it up. Anyway--I realise it is still 11 months away but early is never to soon (but don't ask a women that)

I would be totally happy to go back to Ettington. Equally, I would also travel anywhere else so my vote isnt counted.
NOTICE: I haven't included an 'abstain' choice so all votes needed

So happy wedgers, GET VOTING WITH YOUR KEYBOARDS

if it works that is

maybe a friendly mod can add the word Poll to the title and make it a sticky (pretty please)

The Chase does tick all he boxes. I would travel anywhere for the BBWF. The Chase is the best option at the end of the day being a realist.

As Rob says Ettington is a good choice and ticks a lot of boxes but if you told me it was being held else where ie - Lancaster or even North Wales area then i'd be quite happy, as long as there's a Fest.

Without wanting to criticize the Poll Tony - as well done for starting it
but would it be better to have several options?

Ettington Again
The Lake District
Yorkshire
South Scotland
North Wales
South Wales
Stockport
London
Holland
Australia

Then maybe have a second round to narrow it down

As long as it is no further south than ET then I would definitely go

If it was further up north then I would be happy to help organise

My vote is for Ettington. Nice hotel, reasonably priced, big grounds and reasonable distance away from me. Infact, I would say it's fairly cenral for most though I realise pleople from the north have to travel the furthest. I have only attended the BBWF once for the first time and I would like to attend again. I am no expert but this is just my opinion.

Hey TD

I totally see your point but I thought giving too many options to start with would end up with votes spread all over the country and not a definitive Y/N for a change. If the vote for wanting a change of venue is a yes then suggestions of where and when can be done. I dont think the vote will be to change

I like your suggestion for Wales, I hear the sheep are better looking down therelick

I'm OK with anywhere in a 200 mile radius of Cambridge with no qualms, and a bit further if it's an interesting place.

It would be nice to go somewhere else for a change but you have your work cut out to match the 'Chase.

The EC is fine but surely we can find a place somewhere else that has the same things going for it as the previous, Variety is the spice of life lads, ok i realise the EC is where the BBWF started and where everyone is comfortable with but Howay, we have loads of different places around GB we could at least have a look at. I for one vote for the Yorkshire dales as the roads cannot be matched below the borders! somewhere like York, Selby, Ripon or Thirsk, But like people keep saying it has to be accessible for all wedgers! Come on Trickie dickie get your contacts working.
TOPTON the lakes could be awesome by the way with a trip down to the old factory in Blackpool for a minutes silence as we all make our way home!

As long as you don't venture into town! digging the place up last time I was 'up north' Blackpool is now one big diversion one way system!

IF your going to change venue then i think Mid Wales, as it's a bit more for the boys down south and a bit less for us boys up Norf.
For example - London to Telford apprx 145 miles and for us it would be 270 miles.
IF not then just book Ett.

I second Wales, it's 160 miles to the border for me, somewhere in east Wales would be easy for lots of us.

Some superb driving in North, South & mid-Wales I have to agree, arranged many 1, 2 & 3 day car club runs there.

Really helpful as spotters those lads from RAF...they can see Police helicopters way before we do.

Only issue will be finding anywhere that can match Ettington on price and tick alll the boxes on facilities.

For what its worth I have watched the ongoing debate regarding venues over the past few seasons and just as a heads up myself and the team used to scour the country, North/South East & West, for possible new venues and found quite a few that "almost ran" but everytime we thought we had got close some aspect or other always let us down whether its room rates/number, unwillingness to give seperate or sole parking, food etc etc. but I wish you all the best with the search and hopefully I will be well enough to drag the 450 along next time.....

And if you need help with routes more than willing to do whatever I can Adam

Having said that Hardknott Pass & Wrynose do have something...mmmhhcloud9
