Wedges to the Revival.......
Discussion
Goodwood Revival is fast approaching.
I am now confident that I will still be a Wedge owner in 4 weeks time and I was wondering if any Wedgers/ Wedges will be going down to Goodwood for the finest event of the year.
I will (hopefully) be taking the 450 down for at least two of the three days, and so as not to leave it out, the Cerb on the other...
Be nice to meet a few of you down there.

Am going but probably on the train & shuttle bus so as not to spend half the day in traffic!
All depends what time you get there I guess. I tend to arrive at Goodwood as near to 8am as possible and I have never had any traffic problems. Part of the attraction for me is 'interesting car' spotting on the way down! And there are plenty on the road even at that ungodly hour!dixiebabes said:
Wish i lived a bit closer and had a spare bit of money i would be at rusty 111 and then the goodwood revival this year, always wanted to do the revival!!!

Dix I would luv to do the Rusty III but dont have the spare wonga but ill let you know how the revival goes Dix

As for driving down to Goodwood in the wedge isnt realy a prob appart from a few fuel stops but the boot is crap for camping kit and no one is going to see it from the camp site so a normal borring car is going down with the space for all the crap needed.
Still it would be good to have some thing organised to meet up.

Not sure about the transport.
Either the white wedge or a silver transit connect sign written "GMC Electrics".
The tent will be there with my mates from Friday morning, but my brother does not fly in till that day, so will be arriving sat am.
Will keep an eye out in the evening as (weather permitting) will be around the track all day laying on the banks supping ale, laughing at Rowan Atkinson on the back of a towtruck !!
Hope to see you there Cambell (and anyone else whose going)

Really would love to go Campbell but the wedding plans are sucking me dry and short hours at work till Christmas wont help. Maybe next year hopefully

Update cambell and co....bruv cahanged his flight and we (four of us) will be arriving Friday morning to pitch up.
Almost certainly in the (GMC Electrics) silver connect for gear transporting purposes.
Only a week and a bit away lads to (as you say wasp) the finest motoring event of the year.
Start praying for good weather chaps !!
Oh, and me and the posse tend not to dress up !!
