Has anyone got a passenger side exhaust manifold available??

Ive been searching all morning in a veritable heaven of ford parts but to no avail!!!

Ive got two now, one which is cracked on one of the lugs and the other which turns out to be cracked all the way round.

I really wanted to get it sorted for this weekend, but it looks like that will have to be put off now!!

You could get it welded although welded repairs to cast iron are notoriously difficult and not reliable. However I once welded my Tasmin's left manifold which was cracked between two ports and it held till I sold it...

Anyne who could make a manifold would be able to source (or plasma-cut) new flanges...

I had a split on mine braized a long time ago. TVR Carparts sell stainless steel ones.

I think Ive sourced the flanges, and my good pal will be able to fab them up.

MJG, I just cant bring myself to pay £300 for manifolds that cost around £50 in materials at the most!!

Zig

with the st that ive seen them do to you vehicle, that will be the last place I take anything to!

Ive got someone on the case of welding one of the two cracked manifolds, but would still prefer to get a non welded one!

It's not the materials cost, it's the £100 a time gas refill, labour charges and electricity bill that's just gone up 18%... rolleyes

If every company did favours we'd all be back to plying our own trades for a slack handful of gruel a fortnight...
