The man could be getting a bargain at that price but it depends on how much the heads will cost and what other work is needed.

Sell it on here.

390s are rare cars in short supply...whatever their condition. smile

Silly question, why can't you get the heads done, would only take a weekend.

Hi Mark

I am in West Yorkshire and had both my heads done last year for £500

Once running your car should be worth £6000 - £7000 Minimum

Let me know if you need any other help

Cheers

If that's only worth three grand I'd better give mine away in a lucky bag.

Just had somebody view the car and said the engine had petrol in it,could that still be the head gasket or is it something else.He only offered £3000 so still for sale.

Best thing is to spend a little and get somebody to look at it before you get rid of it to cheap!

I agree.

Makes no difference if the heads are on or off anyway if it's a non-runner, so may as well have a proper look. Potential buyers will then have a better idea of what needs doing. smile

Whereabouts in West Yorks are you Peter
as there are several of my members running garages in the area that will have a look at it for you

As mentioned above they can mend for you or maybe even just give you a better offer as is

I remember see you at BNG 2006 following me when I had a brown 350i

Cheers
