450 suspension advice sought..................
Discussion
So I was checking out all the front suspension components today ready for fitting new shocks etc and i noticed that it is already running with 5mm wheel spacers on the front.
I had considered fitting spacers due to twitchy turn in but now I have discovered it already has them should i try it without?
The front tie rod bushes look suspect but the arb ones look fine with the brackets nice and tight. You can see the stress caused on the top drop link bush due to the angle of the link rod but i am changing these for rose jointed ones later. Ball joints look 'aged'.
I see the winter project list getting longer...........lol
Also does anyone know what the standard spring length should be when off the car? Or is there another way to check if they are past it? I suspect they are originals due to their appearance.
Cheers guys
