is the bottom hose on a tasmin 280 from a factory built car

TVR didn't have bits made unless they absolutely had to so yes, it'll be from a production car... probably a Granada in the case of a 280 unless the rad. is down in the nose.

Might be just as easy to nip into a local motor factors when they're quiet and see what they have lying on shelves. The longest off-the-shelf hose I know of on a wedge is the one that feeds the heater matrix on the RHS... it's ex-Ford Transit and is about 3 feet long!

99% sure it came from a Capri 2.8i (which of couse may be the same as a granada one smile )

Hi mate..My rad was out of a granada and when i was asking the ford garage as regards to the top hose he said mine are longer than the capri so they must be from a granada..I guess its the same for the bottom hose as well..Cheers..Ziga

Other option is to get a silicone kit.

It's an old post but it'll help people hopefully.

A Capri 2.8 bottom hose fits. A Granada 2.8 definitely doesn't fit as it curls the opposite way and fouls the chassis. A Granada 2.8 top hose fits. That's what these photos are. Granada top, Capri bottom.

from which car is the intake manifold and which carb is fitted?

i ask as i see that you have removed your k-jetronic.....and i´m also thiking about that.
