Hi Mark. Didn't bother in the end, too wet. Driving this thing in the wet is like trying to ride a wriggly eel down the road!. Was thinking of doing a run early doors Sunday. Probably the last chance to have a nice warm run this year.
We could hook up by Merthyr & go Brecon, then Upper Chapel then 4519, then 483 to llandeilo, then 4069 to Llangadog & over the top to Brynamman. Some great photo spots there too. What do you think?

I'm going for a (150m) run tomorrow - love to join you over the bridge some time as I will miss the Bristol TVRCC 'Chasing Dragons' on 16/10.

Curses. Working and still not had time to sort the pump. Still, time off tail end of next week and looks like I have all the bits except some spare containers (no problem getting a few there, and if its clean it goes in the saab). Short bit of pipe. Now, I know what will happen, I will find this and that need doing as well.... wonder if there are new tanks around somewhere scratchchin

Passed two tivs on me way back from North Wales yesterday, where were they all? Loads of bikers trying to ram the front of my van.

Sorry Jeff, I was one of those bikers biggrin Mate lives in St. Helens and as he's usually coming up this way for a blast around our roads he suggested we go to him for a change.
We ended up around Bala Lake, Ffestiniog, BeddGelert, that area. Some arsepipe in a silver pickup truck thought he was a superhero by swerving back and forth across the road to stop us overtaking, repeatedly standing on the brakes etc. whilst similarly driving three feet off the rear wheel of our mate who was on a new bike and wasn't familiar with the road. Didn't have my helmet cam on otherwise I'd have been sending the video to the Heddlu, waanker.
Stopped for a nice burger at a pub I forget the name of, hang on while I Google Earth it... Oakeley Arms, corner of A487 and B4410. Black Welsh Burger with Stilton lickyum
I'm usually hurtling through N. Wales on the A55 en route to Pat'n'Mick land so it was a nice change to actually see a bit of your scenery... but what's going on with the sheep, they all look as though they've been freshly laundered?! Never seen sheep so white in my life!

Ah, Black Beef you mean? Native breed of cattle they have been trying to get started again. Meat is superb. Local butcher sells it when he can get some as all the posh nosh shops in the big smoke buy it up apparently.

I was heading from Broughton to Swansea, I would not do that anyway, I would just send MikeB to story arms if I wanted to wind them up.

That's the ones. Mind you they won't get very far if they eat them faster than they breed them! biggrin
