Very, very sad to see my trusty 350i drive off this morning. Bought by a nice chap from Kent - hopefully he will enjoy it as much as I did rotate.

The plus side is that I bought a 400SE (with JE engine) a few weeks ago. Toyed with the idea of going into curvy TVR ownership earlier this summer, but soon came to my senses biggrin

Some pics ...

Looks fab. I really like that colour. Got any pics of the interior and engine bay? Showing my ignorance but what's a JE engine?

Hi Chris, the 350i had a trouble free journey to Kent. She ran like a dream all the way!

She will be well loved and pampered in her new home

Thanks again

Hi Steve,

Didn't expect you to have any problems at all, but glad to know the journey went well thumbup. I've posted off the V5 today.

Hopefully the Mrs liked it more than you were expecting, but if she didn't then I'm sure you will enjoy it anyway biggrin

Cheers,

Chris

What a great car - but I would say that. I owned it a few years ago, taking it to LM a couple of times. It is still the best sounding car that I have ever owned (that was pre-engine mods)and I still have a soft spot for the ultimate wedges. The chap you bought it from and I sold it to has done it proud.

You might see the car around from time to time. The chap I bought it from collected it not that far from where I live (NW Dorset). Looks like you have had some nice motors in the garage since you sold it. thumbup

Hope so, I'm in Somerset but cannot remember where it went. I bought it from a chap who lived near Glasgow. In fact swapped it for my old Chimaera plus cash. If I had the space and permission from she-who-must-be-obeyed, I'd definitely have a 400/450SE in the garage just for the noise.
The current garage is just as fun but in different ways. None of the lazy V8 torque but the build quality is no better, to be honest.
