350 Rad Questions (Chimp helps Wedgie)

Hi Wedgies,

The rad on Solitude's 350 Tasmin has finally sprung a catastrophic leak.

Wedgespanker is missing overtaking him so I am trying to get the old boy back on the road.

Our local rad reconditioner wants £170.00 plus the dreaded to address the problem.

My guess is what TVR fitted was a modified Range Rover V8 rad?

If so, can anyone tell me how much the 350 rad differs from the Range Rover one, is it just the inlet & outlet angles?

Perhaps someone has successfully fitted a Range Rover rad to their 350?

Any help gratefully received, the Chimp needs his Wedgie play mate back on the road.

Berkshire radiator services had one on the shelf a few months ago,£140 if I remember rightly

The difference is one of the little pipes coming out the top of the rad is not required so its crimped/soldered my wedge has a recon range rover rad cost me £150 inc.vat but that was 3 years ago.
