I have been thinking

Now the motor is on sorn im thinking of doing an OZ2 and going ground up restoration ready for next year. I know the few things that need doing but to be honest theres not that much other than the respray needed on the bonnet! the seats and the instrument dashboard illumination upgrade that Adam has already done "Incredibly impressive by the way".

What do you lads reckon?

Can you tell me more about the instrument lighting upgrade, i must have missed that one.

It's always looked pretty tidy to me Jeff, but how about sussy bushes, engine and gearbox mounts, UJs, brakes, brake lines, coolant hoses, fuel lines... maybe upgrade the headlamp wiring to make them brighter?

it took a while, a bit fiddely but quite easy auto electrics is`nt my strong point.....

when i get the time of course but yer right Ian i need to sort all the bushes and UJ's for a start then its the brakes. Also i have been wanting to sort the syncro on 3rd and 4th gears out as the crunch a bit when driving vigourosly but it seems alot of effort for something which in essence is still working. I have the time now but not the money, typical eh last year was vice versa.
