Hi Chaps! Anyone got any photo's of the 400/450 headlight pods and lifting mech?
Am gonna convert my Ser II 390SE to square lights.. the round ones just annoy me! just want to see if they use the same parts as mine?
Cheers in advance
Andy

Same motors, different (and smaller) pods, different light units, different front end on car... apart from that exactly the same.

Cheers wedg1e, yes i'd have to limit the amount of lift as they don't need to pop up so much..got two spare pods already(in exactly the same colour, by luck!)
Have they got the same rose-jointed link??

I'm guessing, because I haven't had the two side-by-side to compare, but I'd think the link would be the same, but the connection point to the pod and/or the angle of the dangle is different. The crank arm on the motor could be a different length but I can't imagine the motor gearbox was changed to create a different amount of lift.
I'm sure that someone reported different length crank arms some years back (might even have been me, I can't remember!). I'm certain the arm was the same length when used on the Esprit 'cos I had mine off and compared to an ex-TVR one they were the same.
