Fall came to Houston a couple of weeks ago, so a non-A/C wedge is the perfect car... except that:

The main (dip?) lights didn't work (crud on the fuse - fixed);
The fans don't come on (more crud? - just noticed);
The boot latch has to have the button pushed and the boot lifted at the same time to open (I liked it better when it didn't lock at all);
The windshield washers - new pump this spring - barely squirts (lots of pollen);
Antenna quit again;
The top needs replacing as does the paint and seats.

On the plus side, blew a racy X5 off a straight line two-into-one on-ramp racette the other morning - the BMW had an extra 1500-2000 pounds(??) and 200+ hp(??) - and I wasn't even paying attention until he flogged it.

Otherwise happy as a clam and lots of good comment. Grady

Paint and seats are luxury items and do not detract from hooning.
The roof, so Im led to believe ( I own Fixed Heads ) are purely for when parked and form no other function, so they are in fact pointless.

One point eludes me thought, exactly how happy can a clam get and how do you gauge this????
wink

Well, tattered elegance is still tattered when it come to tops.

As to clams, every one I've ever eaten was happy, at least for me. Oysters are suffering this year though; I feel their pain. Grady

Only the top half though, rather like my wedge.
