Never question the chimpafrolics motives

Blew my rad (as tank/leigh/zig and others saw) at ace cafe and we patched it thanks to my mate Dave (chimpafrolic) and a cap from the ever generous zig (thanks).
A week later, she went in fabulous style in berkhampsted high street.
Called the breakdown and jogged on to the nearest pub and sank a couple. (oh well, new rad)

Finds an "as new" rad out of a 350 (guy wanted an ally set up) complete with fans in Horsham.

I don't do paypal (although seller took cash in the end) so Dave not only bids....but downloads the software to ensure "our" success.

£48.50 no less, and around £25 in juice in the daily hack (connect diesel) and its in the garage. (total £75)

Don't have time at the moment to fit (work commitments) but i know the chimp will be eager to come and help for a few choice ales when i need him.
You may think its because he and i are mates, but i will remind you that he "spotted me" on my first day out earlier this year and we merely have attended a couple of local shows and the fest together so its not like we know each other too well at all.

I'm positive if anyone else within striking distance required help, he would jump !!

I also happen to know, that if he had the space, he would have a wedge on the drive (he loves FHC wedges).

So for those who don't like his friendly tongue in cheek winding up, remember that his heart is genuinely squaring off.
And as Zig and others know, he is eager to help out.
I know he prefers this forum to any other for the crack and banter and brotherhood shown in the fraternity.

Dave is a good bloke he just bought the wrong TVR....Seriously though he is a top dude and well done for sorting a rad..What a bargain..While the rads out perhaps look into a rad cowling to help pull air through the whole unit..Sort those bushes out as well..If it is the bushes..At least get it checked mate as mine turned out to be the UJs on the driveshafts....I hope its your bushes..good luck mate and well done Dave..Ziga

I feel sorry for Dave really. As zig says, he bought the wrong Tiv and now has to live with that terrible mistake. Although frequenting this arena and mixing with 'wedgers', he is trying to make up for his sins. He keeps mentioning about improving his chimp with engine upgrades etc and does really well defending his corner, even going so far as to say he likes chimps when really its a whole car swap he deep down knows he needs. Maybe by changing parts bit by bit, he thinks it will eventually be a proper tiv. Although he is a nice bloke, he needs to come out of the closet

Aye Davie is a top notch fella good banter and knows his stuff. We like Chimps up here in Hartlepool but the hairy ones not the cut and blow dry type, but we do tend to hang em on the odd occasion!!!! aint that right Carob.
