Veneered switch plate and ashtrays

Hi Peeps..Got the plate back which i had made and then put into a local furniture restorer to glue and cut the veneer as i was worried about screwing it up..Just got to file a tiny amount off so the switches and radio mount are not so tight..Also was thinking as i had some veneer left over that it might look nice on the ashtrays instead of the vinyl??..Not sure yet but i think it looks ok..All i need now is two replacement ashtrays..Cheers..Ziga
