Someone has mentioned that to change the clutch on a 280i you need to remove the engine, Is this true. if so i better drive slower

Pages 179-181 in the Bible. Ford engined cars can drop the box from underneath. Rover engined cars and autos its engine out of move it forward or do what I did on the 520 (got fed up with taking engines out) and had a special gearbox cradle made and fitted by Tower View.

very reasuring, nowt wrong with cluth at moment just thought if engine had to come out i would treat a little kinder. How much do you think it would cost to replace, and is it something the likes of kwik fit could do ie not a TVR specialist
