Hi guys,

An old mate of mine in the trade who knows I like TVR's called me today to say he has a Wedge for sale.

Apparently he took it as part of a bad debt off a Danish guy and now just wants shot of it.

Not seen it yet but apparently it's without an engine & has a big nasty after market Carlos Fandango wing on the back that says 660 SEAL on it?

My mate says it had a Yank V8 in it and he can get hold of this engine if I want it.

It all sounds a bit boy racer to me & knowing my mate I expect she's a basket case, but I'm tempted to have a look.

He wants £1500 without the motor and £2300 with it, I offered him a grand for the lot.

Any idea how much a project Wedge like this is worth?

hehe You've just decribed a one off TVR that is probably the most desirable Wedge ever created. It's probably a lookie likey, but if it's the genuine 660SEAC then it's worth a f3ck1ng forrrrtuuunne!! biggrin

Or your winding us up. scratchchin

Well I have known the seller for over 20 years, he's a good race mechanic so he knows his cars.

The car is in Norwich & I will be looking at it in the next few weeks.

My guess is its just a slime green shed that needs a UK registration & an engine.

But if its worth a million, make me an offer by PM smile

Seriously though, what should I be looking for?

Googled 660 SEAL and got nothing?

Is it a Tasmin variant?

What should I look for?

Right found it, SEAC 66O

yikes

Now that would be a find.

Looks like a trip to Norwich is on the cards.

How can I tell if it's a real SEAC 660 or a fake?

How many did TVR make?

I'm no Troll,

I only came on here to ask a bit of advice, I didn't expect to be abused.

I have never owned a TVR (although I love them), if you are talking about this post I hope you can see I was just having a bit of fun?

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The car is real, it may even be a SEAC 660 as my race mechanic friend has lots of overseas contacts in the race car world and often turns up with interesting stuff.

Any how another Piston Header has already contacted me and has offered to view the car with me.

So lets see what we find, like I say it's probably just a Tasmin with a yank V8.

All I really know is it's been in a lock up in Scandinavia for years and the interior has been stripped out.

How can I tell if it's the real deal?
