Massive favour needed please..LT77

Hi Peeps..Doing a favour for someone in ordering a custom gear knob but the site doesnt have a drop down menu for TVRs but do have an option to order it via thread size..Its for a 400SX which i believe has an LT77 gearbox..Can anyone tell me or measure the thread on the gear stick please..Many thanks..Ziga

Hi mate.
Just measured the one that came with my car, the diameter of the hole is 11.4mm / 0.445".

I think that might make it 1/2" thread, but I'm guessing a bit, could be a metric thread!?

Hi Zig, the thread on my gear lever is 1/2 inch UNF.......................... however,

I seem to have a adaptor that screws onto the top of the gear lever.

The thread on the 'adaptor' is as above, but if this 'adaptor' is not standard then the thread size is much smaller and i'm unable to measure it at present.

Christmas morning arrived and i went downstairs to see what santa had brought me..I stood by the tree and grabbed my christmas stockings,After fumbling around inside for a short time i felt something hard..Each time i got it to the top it slipped back down..Up and down it went, It seemed like it went on for ages..Until finally i pulled out a hard but polished knob..I shouted "Yes Yes..Ive got me knob out"..Hearing a cough behind me i looked round and saw a very red faced mother-in-law standing there and over her shoulder i could see the misses having a little giggle..I just smiled and said " Happy christmas"

Trouble is the wedge - great getaway car - but quite distinctive - AND LOUD...

Id love to but the only trouble with tights mate is if we were being chased by the fuzz and we had to split up..
