Hiya, i was wondering those who are running 16" ex Tuscan racer OZ's on the rear of their 400/450se what clearance do you have between the inner rim/tyre wall and the sway bar/tie rod?

I have approx 10mm running 225/50/16's

Is this enough?

Sounds about right. Ran 245's on my 400 & 450SE. Very close to the tanks too. Never touched though. thumbup

10 - 12mm is about it Jim, never had a problem on mine either looks close but never had one touch, unlike the fronts which foul the inner wheelarch near full lock!

Cheers guys.

Not worried about the tanks, plenty of room there.

There is evidence of catching on the front inner arches and i know a previous owner ran 16's alround for a while.

The rear arches...........that's a different matter eek

New springs from RT and the AVO's wound up should limit catching hopefully. Defo much stiffer than when it had the old ( i assume original) springs on.

Im running the 16" by 9" all rounf with 245s with out a hitch and say 10mm to 12 mm clearance to the tanks and bar but the SEAC has larger arches for these wheels. If you can ger you finger between the tyre and bar or tanks you will be ok.
