Recommended hood repairer in Essex preferably please....
Discussion
Hi everyone,
I have just bought my second wedge (my first one, 350i S2, has had a top engine rebuild and is currently having a new clutch and will be for sale when finished as I have now run out of money :-() a TVR 390 SE with a piper cam and stonking performance :-)
Anyway the stitching on the rear plastic window has come away from the roof and I have managed to put a 3 inch tear in it too :-(
Does anyone recommend a good roof repairer preferably in Essex please ?
The roof and the targa top are in very good condition so I would prefer to get it repaired rather than fork out for a new roof (getting quotes of £500 plus !!!)
Many Thanks and I look forward to your replies.
Kind Regards
Ian

..Is that for a new window and roof or to repair..If its for repair maybe i wont be going there after all..Sorry..Is the tear in the material as there is a product called stormseal that is really good but if it is in the material it will need to be taken off and allowed to dry flat..ZigaEdited by mrzigazaga on Tuesday 29th November 17:19

£240-275
try these guys, owner is a really nice bloke very helpful. ignore picture (yes i know its not a wedge) and the fact its a mazda website! good choice of colours inside and outside. owner has been trimming for around 35yrs and sure they're capable of doing repairs too.
best to get them to use your old one as a template to get best fit but only if yours was a good fit in the first place (most trimmers will curse tvr's as they all seem to be slightly different!!).
this is for targa and back unfitted, i paid a local guy £180 to fit including retrim and repair to back inner panel.
