My electric window has just stopped in the lower position.
Fuse is ok and relay is kicking in.
taken door panel off to look but cant see anything straight away.
There seems to be a loose cable in there.

Can anyone advise?

There is a cable like a bicycle cable that stops the motor pushing the window up any further up than it should - perhaps it has gotten caught on something .. it's very primative but it works - most of the time !

I had a bit of dirt in the contact on the switch, window went down, not up, front contact is for raising the window and is close to transmision tunnel, dirt can travel up from the gear shift gater.

I had a loose connection just inside door panel.Was dirty connector from motor that had been taped up and suppose moisture had corroded it thats all.

must have seen me coming,i replied above, then after work drove car home and the passenger window got stuck down, just come in from the garage, the window switch was full of muck, good clean and all ok now,
