......i've a feeling there's some people 'round here who are getting a teeny weeny ickle bit excited about July 17/18th at Ettington Chase.

Mmmm.....beer,BBQ,sunshine,WEDGES and total lack of snobbery/cynical sniping/one-upmanship/social barrier/brown-nosing in an informal gathering of 'nutters' that will be devoid of lifes usual boring mundane issues.

should we bring supply clean underwear and oodles of 'kleenex'.....dribble dribble????????

Never in the field of human conflict was so much noise created by so few.....

We go to Ettington, not as an invading force ...but a liberating one

We shall drive them on the beaches but we shall never surrender

.....remember chaps this is an informal gathering of like-minded people...nothing organised about it ...oh no ,not at all

and to the tune of David Bowie's 'Heroes'....the sight of the Union Jack emblazoned with the TVR logo across it and a Spitfire flyby....i bid you a fond farewell.

IT'S A WEDGE THING...!!!

T minus 17 days and counting.........tick tick tick

I know Ted - we can have an impromptu sermon on the lawn .. Mrs Doyle can make the Tea..

I've been on the phone today and invited a few interesting people :

Mark Adams (ECU & tuning expert)
Jeff Statham (factory SEAC race car)
Chris Schirle (SEAC Creator)
V8 developments (Ray & Sean)

All hope to make it ...

SteveR - will have placed the order for 64 polo shirts ..

It's like waiting for Christmas as a kid ...

Start the count down - I can't wait !

I'm getting excited, even though the white wedge will be at home -- In true anorak sytle - I have dug out a MD recording I made a few years ago of a run to a friends house -- that shall be playing on loopback all the way up there
Looking forward to a wall of noise !

As long as there's space on the Saturday Night for me to turn up on the way back from Lydden Hill with the taz racer on the trailer.

what time is the BBQ? I havent had the timetable yet so i dont know what time i'll get away.

I've entered 3 races that day so the old girl should get a good work out.. i'll see if i can bring some silverware...

there will still be someone sober to talk to by then ?
