My wish, for my Wedge, for this year, is to take a picture of a beautiful bird draped over the bonnet of my Wedge, so as I can hang the picture on my bedroom wall and admire it all year.

I just *SO* want a v8 wedge, preferably a 400 or 450, so as I can get that silly grin...
The 280 is wonderfully good, but it just lacks that big punch in the back.

(My Marlin kit with a tuned 2500 Triumph would do 0-60 in about 6 secs. I miss that.)

I'm still wondering what will go in that S1 frame....Yes I've seen the pics of the V8 squeezed in, and I have this Holden/Buick V6 with T5 sat on the garage floor, grinning at me, tempting me....

What, like those 1970's ones of the nude models on the 'M' series bonnet ?

My Esprit had a more 'back-punching' delivery than the 390SE which is just a constant wave of torque. Seems a bit odd given that the 390 has another 90BHP over the Esprit but the Lotus was lighter and on carbs so maybe more instantaneous response.

This picture with the red wedge is close to my wish, but is she sitting on the bonnet or is she lifting one leg up?

That picture is a nice attempt Zig. Well done. Though the No Entry sign in the background has put me off a little. Also this gives me an idea for a topic for next years calendar!!!! The historic buildings was easy. This would be a real challenge.

Well mate i did rush it a bit..But you know that is a good idea for the next batch of calendars..I did at one point think of a car washing calendar with babes in provocative poses over our cars..nuts..Anything is possible but the price of the calendars will be significantly higher though it will be well worth it..I actually do have a friend who is very..shall we say willing to pose and she has some very nice friends too..Leave it with me..I think a trip out to the woods in the spring may be in order for starters..bounce..wobble

PS: I think this bird left a little brown fish on my bonnet..eek..so maybe her leg is lifting up..Cheeky mare!!
