Front wings / wheel arches 400SE

Thinking of having the front end resprayed soon on my 400SE.

I think I have seen the 400 with the trim lines going the full length of the front wing, and also stopping for the area above the top of the front wheel arch.

Which way is correct/standard? Pics of both might be useful to decide which way to go.

I too have seen both styles, but I think the one with the gap is more usual, and when there's no gap it looks a bit odd, especially when the pinstripes are thick or heavy.

Ultimately it's up to your personal preference and if you ever sold the car the next owner can change it quite easily.

When new they had the gap over the wheel arch, or at least on the brochure I have it is!!!
