Are shock absorbers the same size for front and rear ?
Discussion
Hi,
I'm after a shock absorber (preferably adjustable as that's what's on the car at the moment) the offside rear for my 390 SE (failed the MOT).
A pistonheads member has kindly replied saying he has some for the front and forgive my ignorance but are the shocks for the front a different size for the rear or are they the same size all round ? And if so I presume thety will fit ?
I look forward to your replies
regards
Ian

Sorry i couldn't help Ian but i'm sure you'll be able to find something.
I presume you will change both sides in order to keep things straight and balanced?
I don't know how deep your pockets are but Avon rear adjustable dampers are around £100 each i think brand new.
This is what i have at the moment.
