Hi all

I was reading through my large history file and found the original invoice of my 1989 350i sold by Haughins TVR for £24,000! So wondered what other Wedges went for originally then?

Not sure for my actual car but I remember looking at a 400SE brand new in the show room in 1991, one of the last, at it was on special offer at £28k

18.995 pounds in 1986 for my 350i. It's pretty barebones and LHD originally purchased by a British lawyer bloke residing in Luxembourg!

My 390SE cost £26076.15. This includes £350 for the alarm and £130.44 for the Wilton carpets. A £1000 deposit was paid on the 25.5.88 and the car was registered on 25.08.88.

Amongst the paperwork for my 390 there is a page out of the North West Autotrader dating back to July 1999.
My 390 was advertised for £8,750 but the chimeras were £25k !!!
I paid £2250 for the 390 3 months ago, I am itching for it to be finished frown
Mind you, with snow on the way I guess it'll be another week or so before I get to drive it frown

Mine was registered Sept. '87. Can't be precise but from MikeB's price list it'd have been £21,995 for the car, £365 for the power steering, £135 for the metallic paint and £373 for the leather seats. So... £22868. Although it has leather upholstery, which is listed as another £22868... so maybe £23673!

As I recall the list price for series 1 350i's was £15,995 in 1983/1984 when mine was built. It was first owned by Saatchi and Saatchi until I bought it in 1987 for £11,500.

Yes nice colour looks like the same colour as the wife's 280i
Can you post what colour it is (If you know) plus the TVR paint code so I can double check against the wife's!

I have the original receipt for my SEAC somewhere for a similar amount.

When I found it in 2005 it was up for £7995.00.

I finally paid £6,500.00 in a somewhat unloved state but running - just.
