Decided to remove the rad this weekend & fit the nice shiny new Cosworth one.
The coldest snowy day of the year! I then manage to catch the passenger side wing mirror on the garage door cracking the fiberglass mould, I remove the rad & successfully make some nice mountings & then decide to fit a new thermostat...crack the stud buried behind the dizzy snaps off.
so now ive got more jobs to do!
Does anyone have a N/S wing mirror housing they dont want?

Hi, what materials did you use to fabricate mountings ?

I have a new rad which differs from original, so will need to "design build" myself some.

I used a piece of angle across the bottom, two small right angle brackets at the sides & 4 mini exhaust rubbers this then fits int the original mountings on the car with one hole drilled in them. I will try to put some pics up in the next few days to help.

Great.
Not the first time ive heard about the mini exhaust rubbers.
I have some ally right angle and intend to use that.

Once the rad is in situ i can approach the alterations required to the hoses. (all new of course)

Would love to see pics !!
